~ Hello, I’m Mari! ~



I’ve always had a strong love for all animals and a desire to work around them. At about 13 years old I started pet sitting for family and friends and have been doing that on and off ever since. Prior to this past year though, I have volunteered at various animal shelters around the valley and I always try to donate to any animal cause. I took the past year off to be a stay at home mom to my first child and I loved every second of it but I am ready to start adding my passion for taking care of animals into my routine again. As a pet owner I understand the struggle of trying to find someone who is trustworthy and who will love and care for your animals as you would. I am committed to making sure pet owners feel safe and happy knowing their pets are being treated with the utmost love while in my care.

~ A Little About My Pets ~


I currently only have 2 dogs, a husky mix and a bully mix. I would love to rescue more animals when I have the space for them. I understand that every animal has its own unique personality and preferences. Having volunteered in the animal shelter, I have dealt with a variety of different behaviors from aggressive to fearful. On a regular basis I deal with my own dogs, one who is reactive and the who takes anxiety medication. I also have experience with a dog who had an enlarged heart and needed daily medication to keep their heart rate down, a dog who struggled with hypoglycemia, both dogs and cats with specific diets whether it be for weight management or a food allergy. So I understand pets have special needs and I have experience with that personally but also professionally.
