I have always loved animals and wanted to work with them. At one point I did try to make that dream a reality and entered a program to become a vet tech. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out the way I was expecting because of unforeseen circumstances. Working with animals had to be put on hold and life went on, but with hopes to revisit it in the future. Now, I am married with 3 kids and a home full of rescued fur babies. I wish we could rescue every stray and bring them home, but of course that’s not possible. So, I try to volunteer and donate to local shelters or help strays get off the streets whenever I can. Now, with the support of my wonderful family, I can revisit my dream of working with pets by helping other loving pet owners get trustworthy care and can feel at ease that their pets are being cared for as if they were my own.

~ A Little About My Pets ~
Having cared for so many animals, including my own pets, I have enjoyed them in good health and cared for them in sickness. I have had to administer medications and, in some cases, monitor their diets and even follow specific exercise regiments for their well-being. For example, my cat, Jade, has asthma. She must be given pills as well as inhalers regularly. My dog, Reese, is battling valley fever and has developed arthritis as a side effect. He must be given medication for both illnesses. Yet these are only a couple of examples. I have had a cat suffering from IBS, a dog with behavioral issues who required training, a cat with extreme anxiety, another cat with memory problems and an old dog who can neither hear nor see.
My point being, I am a pet owner too. I understand your needs and your pet’s needs. I know your love for your pet. I have experience caring for them as a pet owner, as a caregiver and as an employee of a pet care company.
