~ Hello, I’m Angelina! ~
I have always loved animals and wanted to work with them. At one point I did try to make that dream a reality and entered a program to become a vet tech. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out the way I was expecting because of unforeseen circumstances. Working with animals had to be put on hold and life went on, but with hopes to revisit it in the future.
Now, I am married with 3 kids and a home overflowing with rescued fur babies. I wish we could rescue every stray and bring them home, but of course that’s not possible. So, I would volunteer and donate to local shelters or help strays get off the streets whenever I could. Now, with the support of my wonderful family, I could attempt my dream of working with animals again, but in my own way, by helping other loving pet owners get trustworthy care and to feel at ease that their pets are being cared for as if they were my own.
After working for a different pet sitting company and having a negative experience with corporate, I started my own business at the request of my former clients. In 2022 I started this journey to fulfill my lifelong dream of working with and caring for all the cute little critters. Taking this leap into being my own boss has made it so I can help pet owners get the kind of care they are looking for and ensuring all their pet’s unique needs are never being overlooked or forgotten. I have learned and grown so much with the support of my wonderful clients and their beautiful pets.
~ My Fur Babies ~
Buddha was a rescue from a family who didn’t care for him
and had behavior issues, no fault of his own.
Layla was a similar situation and was malnourished and
scared when we took her in.
Sophie was a rescue from a shelter. She is our senior girl and
can no longer hear, see or hold in potty in.
Simon was taken in as a stray kitten. He has a heart murmur
and is a shy guy.
Jade was taken in after a found her in the road hit by a car,
somehow, she got away with hardly any injuries. She has asthma
and is also very shy. Took her 3 whole years to warm up to me
but now she is my little shadow.
Noel came from a former client who’s living situation charged.
She is as snotty as she is beautiful. Her nick name is “No! No!”.
Sonny is my big, sweet lover boy. If it’s not Jade next to me then it’s Sonny.
V is an old girl we took in when her owner had nowhere to call home, and she just never left us. She has no teeth, is very demanding, lacks any basic kitty selfcare habits and very forgetful, but she is always happily purring the day away.
Moe we got as a rescue from a shelter. She is always silently judging you.
Jack is our cuddly wild child. He is always picking fights with someone, even the dogs! We found him in
the middle of the road by a Jack in the Box.
~ Things I’ve Learned ~
Having cared for so many animals, including my own pets, I have enjoyed them in good health and cared for them in bad. I have had to administer medications and, in some cases, monitor their diets and even follow specific exercise regiments for their well- being. For example, my cat, Jade, has asthma. She must be given pills as well as inhalers regularly. Our dog, Reese, was battling valley fever and had developed arthritis as a side effect. He had to be given medication for both illnesses regularly. I also cared for pets who have suffered from IBS, behavioral issues, anxiety, memory problems, diabetes, cancer or just issues that come with old age. I watched them grow old and loved them until it was their time to cross that rainbow bridge.
My point being, I am a pet owner too. I understand your needs and your pet’s needs. I know your love for your pets, in sickness and in health. I have experience caring for them as a pet owner, as a caregiver, as an employee and now as an owner of a pet care company.
